GrappleApp is the World's first in-depth turn-based Jiu Jitsu game, where you build on and use your knowledge of the grappling martial arts to train your character, compete in tournaments, and progress through the belts, winning medals and trophies along the way.
NOTE: This app is in English language only! No translations are currently available, but we have not excluded any particular country from eligibility to purchase the app because there may still be English speakers in those countries who wish to buy it.
NOTE2: Total space required by application may be just over 300Mb (including secondary download of move sequence data), and the initial download/setup can take some time, but after that the app loads up quickly every time.
NOTE3: The "money" in the game itself is not real currency - YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR DIFFERENT ADD-ONS. The game uses "money" for the player to balance competition/sponsorship earnings with training fees.
Hundreds of positions and moves have been carefully mapped out to give a healthy balance between legit Jiu Jitsu knowledge and a fun game experience.
This is version 1.07 of an App that will continue to evolve as the sport itself develops over time. We have fixed a critical bug that was specifically affecting a number of Locales where decimal numbers are separated with a comma.
A Pro version is also in the pipeline, which allows you to re-film sequences for the existing options, or even edit the actual position map itself to include entirely new pathways - literally unlimited potential for mapping out your own grappling system.
